Concorde Fire Challenge Cup 2021 Registration will open in December

 

The Concorde Fire Challenge Cup is one the of the nation’s largest soccer tournaments for ages U8-U15, attracting over 450 teams. Our tournament attracts teams from Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida and as far away as Missouri and Illinois.  We host some of the highest ranked teams from these states and regions in each age group.  This highly competitive tournament is hosted by one of the nation’s premier soccer clubs, Concorde Fire Soccer Club.

January 25 - deadline to pay team registration fee so team can be seeded

January 26 - expected date to receive acceptance notice

February 2 - deadline to begin Online Check-In (can begin as soon as you receive acceptance email)

February 10; 6 pm - deadline to complete Online Check-In

Welcome to the seventh year of Concorde Fire’s Nike Select Cup!  Concorde Fire Soccer Club of Metro Atlanta is pleased to invite your team to the beautiful city of Atlanta for this preseason tournament.  Kick start your season with this late summer tournament that will draw teams from around the country. Concorde Fire Soccer Club is one of the nation’s premier soccer clubs.

For the U12 teams we will be playing 9v9. For the U13 and U14 teams we will 11v11 in our Nike Select Cup, we will be playing a traditional tournament format where teams are placed into groups for round robin play to determine finalist for the championship.

For our U15 and older teams playing in the Showcase portion of our Nike Select Cup, teams will play 3 scheduled games with no advancement to a final.  The Showcase will post standings but there will not be advancement nor trophies/plaques for teams "winning" the event.  Showcase Teams will have the option of selecting to play a 3-day format (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday) or a 2-day format (2 games on Saturday and 1 game on Sunday) when registering.

The Nike Futsal Championship will be postponed for 2021 and will return in January of 2022.

Location - Lake Point Sports Complex - 755 Georgia 293, Emerson, GA 30137. Please note, Lake Point Sports Complex charge $5/day for parking. 

Games will be played Saturday, January 4th; 8am-8pm and Sunday, January 5th; 8am-4pm

12 Indoor Courts | Entry Fee $495/team | 10 Players max/team

Footwear - It is very important that the correct INDOOR footwear is worn. No CLEATS, NO TURF SHOES, SPECIFIC Indoor soled shoes should be worn, regular sneakers can be worn also as long as they have a white sole.

 

MATCH TERMINATION NOT DUE TO WEATHER

A match is considered official if one half has been completed. However, should a match be terminated for any reason other than inclement weather, the Tournament Director and Committee will review the referee’s report and any other information available in order to render a decision.

 

TERMINATION of Games or Tournament

DUE TO WEATHER/ACT OF GOD

If the tournament is canceled due to inclement weather or any act of God, a partial refund will be issued. If the tournament is canceled after a team has played in 2 games, no refund will be issued to that team.
